Sujatha.....

Read Sujatha's "Aaah" for the third time in my life...... The first time was when it was being published in Aanatha Vikatan....in 1992. I was 8 years old at that time. I dont know what i would have understood as an 8 year old. But i still remember that I used to read it every week,

The second read was during my vacation in the ninth standard. I still remember that I did not sleep for the whole night that day. Not that I was frightened. It was simply that I got too much involved in the story, that i started imagining that everything happened to me and that kept me awake the whole night.

Now reading it for the third time, a lot of questions arise. There seems to be a lot of pieces missing in the story. The biggest missing piece is the fourth pillar "Pandari". Where is that guy?
Why didn't Dinesh try to meet the yogi again? Sharma tried to kill Jayalakshmi to avenge his own death, Jayalakshmi killed Gopalan to avenge her death, "Pandari" rightfully should have tried to avenge them both.

Of the four only Gopalan could have died a peaceful death, the rest all could not have reincarnated and they should also be as spirits. If not it contradicts that Sharma alone could not reincarnate....

Questions aside, this is the one of the best supernatural thrillers. Why cant they make movies like this. All we get is some crap story like ATM or as usual some ghost story. Makes me wish that I could make a film. The only film that can be made with my resources are animation movies. I have doubts if an animation movie can handle the subjects I have in mind......Let me continue later after I get together my thoughts.
